I realized the other day that I've been going to this site for SIX years now and thinking about what was popular then and now. THEN the site was filled with animations that, while not animated well, were still fun. Little things like the assassin games and killing pokemon and stuff- to me it made the site great, because I knew it had balls and there were barely any restrictions on what was/ wasn't allowed.

NOW it takes a game or movie with near professional quality to get played or viewed, and with that, ironically, is a decline in quality. Not as many original flashes for one thing. and believe me- I'm fine with parodies and videogame movies, but I wish there were MORE to them- for example: The Awesome Series.

I originally loved this but now I'm beginning to realize the novelty has worn off. Still good, but they all seem like one big random mess at times. ( Though I still love you egoraptor, if you are reading this!)

And whats with this anime crap? A "good but not amazingly animated movie" is at the top of the list just because it features yu-gi-oh or something.

Bottom line: I want the old newgrounds back! Newgrounds is still awesome, hell I give props to all who created it (you made Castle Crashers for chrissakes!) but it seems liek the site is losing its originality and forgetting what made it great in the beginning.
